Hmm, it seems we are back where we started. Let’s recap, and then check some facts, and see if anything has changed. F is for fertility, which according to the dictionary means “the quality of being fertile; the ability to conceive children or young” …so basically, being able to become pregnant and deliver a baby. The flipside of which is, being infertile, or “being unable to reproduce” … so yes, opposites. Do they attract? Or do birds of a feather flock together? The world may never know. On November 18th, 2020, 6 days after our 3rd FET, I saw my first ever positive pregnancy test (okay, let's be real, I took 6)

On November 21st, we got our first ever positive beta hCG results of 571, followed by another positive of 938, followed by another of 4089

On December 29th, the last measurement she took was the heartbeat.
A flatline.

For 41 days, Chad and I were going to be parents.
For 41 days, 2020 was good.

I had my Endometrial Receptivity Array (ERA) done today. For those of you who don't know what that is, hold tight, I will explain in a minute, but I still need to tell you what L stands for. Today, L is for Lobster. So the ERA: This is the same procedure as the "scratch", which *may* aid in implantation ... but the sample is sent for testing instead of being discarded. When I had the scratch done leading up to my 2nd transfer, they had to clamp my cervix because apparently, it moves too. Who knew? This resulted in me almost succeeding in breaking...
